What happened to Free PC to PSTN calls(VOIP)?
From the early 2000s to 2006 they’ve had different services that offered free PC to PSTN calls, as long as they were in the United States or Canada(1 Country code). For a while I was using a program called AdCalls, then I went on to Skype, then I heard that a Skype clone was made that allowed free Calls, Gizmodo. But all of them charge/Limit now. There is iCall but they limit you to only 5 minutes, when they use to allow unlimited minutes.
Is it the Phone Companies that put a stop to all of this?
If you can still do free calls, then are there any programs that you could point me to?
