XM Radio activation?

If you buy an XM radio in Canada, can you get it activated in the United States with American programming or does it have some certain number that doesnt allow it to be American activated?

I’m pretty sure you can have XM give you full US programmng when you get back to the states. Check their support folks (best in the biz) at
