Does ACOD AND STOPLIFT AFFECT VISA STATUS IMMIGRATION GREENCARD ETC ?

I am a female on h4 visa.. husband is on h1 we have to apply for extension in december and greecard after that. I was arrested for shoplifting in october 2007..( in longisland , ny) through lawyers i have been offered ACOD ( ADJOURNMENT IN CONTEMLATION OF DISMISSAL) with the condition that i attend a stoplift class I pleaded not guilty to initial charges of petit larceny. Will attending stoplift class mean that i have admitted guilt to petit larceny, a misdemeanor..
FROM INS POINT OF VIEW..
Will INS consider it a CIMT ( CRIME OF MORAL TURPITUDE)HOw will it affect my h4 extension , my green card application and will i have trouble travelling , at port of entry ( usa).. and restamping of my visa passport in my country of origin.

A conviction could very well get you deported. I believe the ACOD is not considered a conviction nor is it considered a guilty plea.
