immigration doha

Why does Qatar Airways treat its passengers so badly especially at Doha Airport? Intolerant and racistic?

I had a 14 hour transit at Doha. I was ill and had 2 children with me as well as my wife. We were asked to stay in an overheated airport for all the 14 hours without a room. Asking why, we were answered rudely that they treat all South Asians that way. Other passengers in similar situations had sometimes waited for more than 48 and 72 hours. A 6-hour stay at the crouded so-called Oryx launge costs 50 US dollars per person for a possible place in a sofa, possibility to use one of the 3 computers allowed for all and small refreshment. Not worth it atall. They advertize that they “take you more personally”. Yes, they do – but in a very negative sense. They call themselves now a “5-star airline” – yes, if you are lucky to be allowed for a short stay at Hotel Marriot if your transit at Doha takes more than 9 hours. However it is not for all, and it is at the whims of the immigration and other airport authorities. A chat with the foreign workers at the airport at Doha shows how bad it is.

well i am not surprised but i had a different experience my marriot hotel stay was just fine but the airport lost my luggage i demanded some money to re supply they gave it to me a long battle then the next day they found it and wanted the money back.what nerve but i was a 1st class passenger they took me out to the plane in a mercedes and the crew and food was just fine the seats comfortable so i cant say anything negative at this time about them
