Thailand / Vietnam Visa From UK?
I’m traveling to Hong Kong this year & plan to visit Bangkok for a few days when there via a cheap flight from Macau. Then possibly travel from Bangkok to Vietnam then back again before returning to Macau then Hong Kong.
I’m aware I need a visa for Vietnam but what are the requirement for Thailand? Does the 30 Visa Waiver I get when landing in Thailand cover me for going to Vietnam & coming back to Bangkok?
If not what do I need for my travels?
I don’t think you will have any problem when you reenter Thailand. Here is an explanation “Entry requirements for UK nationals: Visas are not required for travel by UK passport holders endorsed British Citizen for periods of 30 days or less (an extension of up to 10 days is possible). Other UK passport holders require a visa and a passport valid for the intended period of stay.”
Once you enter Thailand after you’ve been to Vietnam, your visa on arrival will be re-issued (your passport will be stamped with new Thailand visa).
Hope it helps
