How safe the Personal Files on my Hard Disk while surfing??
I wish to save files with sensitive data – for example: visa card number, account numbers, SIN No. and so on
Is it safe to do so? Can anyone can intrude and steal the data??
Do not consider such files to be safe (assume the worst). So, if you really, really want to save these:
1. Do it on a removeable (flash) drive and do not leave that plugged in while on the net.
2. Encrypt the file(s).
Many but not all flash drives come with an encryption capability. Do not settle for password-protected access (only).
