What is the best way for Singaporeans to apply for a visa to visit Egypt?

I understand that there are two ways to apply for a visa. One is through the Egyptian embassy in Singapore. The other is on arrival at the airport in Cairo. The visa fees at the Egyptian embassy are S$46 single-entry and S$58 multiple-entry. I heard that getting a visa at the Cairo airport only costs US$15. Is this true? Can Singaporeans get a multiple-entry tourist visa for Egypt on arrival at Cairo airport?

No, the visa on arrival is for single entries for 30 days only. It actually is just a sticker affixed to the passport on which the entry and exit is stamped. If you plan to enter the country twice you just apply for two on entry visa on arrival (still cheaper than the multiple entry visa from the Embassy [US$15 ~ S$21.50]).
