If someone has an Immigration visa for USA, can they drive up into Canada?
My wife is from India. She got her USA immigration visa just recently. Once in USA, can she travel with us to Canada for a short visit as well? What is required and what are any complications that we should know of? Thanks in advance.
No, she can’t. Indian citizen need a visa to travel to Canada. Once she has gotten her Green Card she can travel without visa since U.S. Legal Permanent Residents are visa exempt to Canada.

She needs to apply for a Canadian visa at one of the Canadian visa offices located in the United States.
