First of all, Credit can be dangerous for people, especially if they do not have full time jobs
I would advise using cash for purchases.
That being said…READ THE FINE PRINT !!!!
does it have an annual fee??? if so, forget it, if you must have a card in order to build credit, get a Visa with no annual fee, then NEVER BUY ANYTHING, UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE THE MONEY SET ASIDE TO PAY THE BILL BEFORE THE DUE DATE.
It is really difficult to get out of a debt mess once you have created it.
