visa screening for nurses

I have a friend who just found out she has a Hep B. Would it affect her dream on working in US?
She got it from her mother. She is a nurse. She is planning to migrate or get an H1B visa. We have heard that as part of the medical requirements. She will be tested for HepB s Ag, as screen. She is scared she will get denied. For me, I thought it is only those who will get diagnosed for HIV and has TB will be banned (until get treated for TB). I am not sure for Hep B…. Can you help us???
Definitely no chance of a visa being approved for Hepatitis B
hep A maybe as its just a bad liver disease that can be treated but type ‘B’ can be infectious to US citizens, sorry but thats the truth
